Refund / Exchange and Returns Policy

The below policy is valid for 30 days from purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. We understand that in some instances, i.e. if the purchased item was a gift, it may not be possible to detect faults within 30 days. Any queries or disputes can be directed to shop@emmetts.com.au

How to start a Return / Exchange or Refund
In the footer of our website there is a link to My Account where your previous orders are saved. https://www.emmetts.com.au/shop/my-account/
Go to Orders, select the order you need to request an Return/Exchange or Refund on. If the order is within 30 days, a button for Refund will be visable.  Click the button and choose whether you require a full or partial refund or full or partial store credit to the value of the goods, not including shipping.  If you would like to return an item and have it replaced, choose credit and add the value of that item.  Once the item is returned to us and is approved you will recieve an instant coupon code to redeem at checkout.  The coupon will be visable in our checkout, simply click it and it will be applied to your next order.  A copy of the code will also be emailed to you.
 
Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Refunds will only be granted on items that are faulty, or damaged. We do not provide refunds if you have changed your mind. If a refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 business days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shop@emmetts.com.au.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If the item is faulty and you would like to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@emmetts.com.au first to notify us of your issue. 

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Emmetts Online Shop, 105 Dimboola Road, Horsham, VIC, 3400. You are responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.  If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping & Delivery Addresses
Online orders via our website are available only to Australia delivery addresses.  All deliveries are only sent via TNT Road Express; TNT cannot deliver to anything affiliated with Australia Post, including Post Offices,  P.O. Boxes or RMB addresses etc. We don't do air freight.  Please expect an average delivery window of 3 to 10 business days, this may vary depending on delivery address and peak times.

Notification on order status and tracking codes are emailed for each order and can be viewed in your My Orders page.  On some occasions a order may be fulfilled from stock located at one or more of our 15 branches in Victoria or South Australia. In this case you should expect to receive multiple emails from TNT including your tracking codes to track your delivery. 

Orders are processed by our staff during business hours Monday to Friday, ensuring your order is processed and ready for shipping within 24 hours if in house. Orders are then booked with TNT within that 24 hours for collection on the next available pickup window by TNT; usually the next business day. During peak periods of Christmas, Cropping or Harvest there can be delays in order processing.

Cancelling orders - return fees
Cancelling an order with us might incur a return fee back to John Deere, this happens if the order isn't cancelled before cut-off time on the day of ordering. John Deere charge 15% of the parts being returned, so please call to check if your order can be cancelled.

If ordering parts from overseas, once you communicate that you're happy for that to be done, the order cannot be cancelled once we've placed it in John Deere's system. The overseas freight fee won't be refunded. If the item is returnable, you will still be charged the 15%. 

Please be mindful when ordering spare parts, if you need to double check please send through machine details so we can verify parts required for your specific machine.
