CropScan
A powerful Near Infrared Transmission spectrometer capable of measuring protein, oil and moisture in cereal grains and oil seeds as they are sampled off the clean grain elevator and displayed in real time in the cab.
Data is collected every 7-12 seconds which is displayed in cab showing bin averages, field averages and real-time protein maps. The software sends the data to the internet where it can be monitored using a PC, Tablet or Smart phone.

How to Set Up your Combine
Before you start harvesting, it’s important that you use the Work Setup app in the Gen 4 display to select the right information relevant to the field that you are in. Basic crop selection and harvest setup details are also covered in the video below.

Before you can automate the adjustment of your combine settings, it’s important that you optimise the machine to the desired productivity, loss levels and grain sample quality. The Optimise Performance app in the Gen 4 display will help you through this process by providing recommended adjustments based on the symptoms you observe whether that be unthreshed grain, cracked grain, or losses among others.

Now that you have set up and optimised your combine, you’re ready to establish a performance target that will inform the automatic adjustment of key combine settings using Combine Advisor.
All you need to do is:
1. Get your combine optimised
2. Select Combine Advisor from the run screen
3. Turn on Auto Maintain
4. Set a new Performance Target if needed
The machine is now automatically maintaining the performance target you’ve set, and no matter the moisture or crop conditions, it will continue to make adjustments as you harvest throughout the day.

The Machine Sync application used during harvest creates a local network between your tractors and combines that automates the unloading on-the-go process, helping to keep productivity to a maximum, no matter the experience of your team.

ActiveYield
Manual calibrations can take up to 90 minutes, but with ActiveYieldTM, it's done with no time or effort away from harvest and will save you time every day. Automatic calibrations occur as you're running, sensing the weight of the grain in the tank as it fills and continually calibrates the yield system, giving you more accurate field mapping.
Machine Sync
Coordinate multiple combines and grain carts in the same field to save time and improve logistics. With In-field Data Sharing, you can share coverage map and guidance lines for increased efficiency and complete field coverage. Machine Sync allows the combine to control the speed, direction and position of the grain cart tractor to automate unloading on-the-go.
