The Eyre Peninsula Field Days are one of the biggest events on the South Australian agricultural calendar, bringing together growers, machinery, and industry experts from across the region. This year, the Emmetts team will be showcasing some of John Deere's latest machinery and technology, giving visitors the opportunity to see equipment up close, ask questions, and explore solutions for their own farming operation.

Whether you're planning for the coming season, researching your next machinery purchase, or simply keen to see the latest technology, we'd love to welcome you to Emmetts at site 190.

Machinery for Every Stage of the Season

Every farming business is different, and so are the challenges faced throughout the year. That's why we'll have equipment on display covering the full production cycle. From seeding and spraying through to harvest, material handling, and property maintenance, you’ll be able to see plenty of options in person.

Harvest Equipment

Harvest is one of the busiest and most critical times of the year, making productivity, reliability, and grain quality more important than ever.

Visitors will be able to see both the John Deere X9 Combine and John Deere S700 Combine, two harvesting platforms designed to help growers maximise capacity while reducing operator workload.

Whether you're interested in harvesting performance, automation, or machine technology, our team will be available to discuss the differences between the models and help determine which may be best suited to your operation.

Seeding Solutions

We'll also have a complete John Deere seeding system on display featuring the John Deere P660 Air Hoe Drill paired with the John Deere C650 Air Cart.

For growers considering upgrades or wanting to learn more about integrated seeding technology, it's a great opportunity to see the equipment firsthand and discuss how machine integration and Precision Ag technologies can improve efficiency and crop establishment.

High-Horsepower Tractors

The John Deere 9RX 710 headlines our tractor display, showcasing the latest in high-horsepower performance for broadacre farming.

Joining it will be the versatile John Deere 8RX and John Deere 7R tractors, each offering different capabilities for seeding, cultivation, transport, and general farm work.

We'll also have both a John Deere 6 Series and 5 Series tractor on display, demonstrating solutions for mixed farming enterprises, livestock producers, and property owners looking for dependable all-round performance.

Spraying Equipment

Efficient chemical application remains one of the most important contributors to crop performance.

Visitors can compare two different spraying solutions with the John Deere 616R Self-Propelled Sprayer and the John Deere R975i Trailed Sprayer.

Our team will be happy to discuss application technology, Precision Ag integration, and how John Deere's latest spraying innovations are helping growers improve efficiency while making better use of every litre applied.

Supporting Equipment

The display will also include a Coolamon Chaser Bin and the Bredal K110 Spreader, giving visitors the opportunity to explore equipment that supports efficient harvest logistics and accurate fertiliser application.

For lifestyle property owners and acreage managers, we'll also have a range of John Deere mowers on display, offering solutions for everything from residential properties through to commercial grounds maintenance.

More Than Machinery

While the machinery is always a highlight, field days are really about people. They're an opportunity to catch up with neighbours, share ideas, ask questions, and talk about what's happening across the region.

The Emmetts team is proud to be part of the Eyre Peninsula community, and events like these give us the chance to spend time with customers away from the workshop and office.

Whether you'd like to discuss new machinery, technology, servicing, parts support, or simply have a chat about your plans for the season ahead, we'd love to see you.
